Occasionally you might have trouble signing up for Bluehost due to the error "Could not build Single Signon Cust object with provided information. at /var/hp/common/lib/HP/Signup/User.pm line 277."
A member of a WordPress community could not sign up for Bluehost due to this problem. I contacted Bluehost to resolve this payment issue and I was told that it's because he was trying to sign in with Google single singon.
I did check the screenshot provided and it looks he is trying to sign in with Google single singon. I would suggest him to use normal signup procedure and check.
Actually, he was able to complete the process successfully with normal signup procedure.
If you encounter the error message "Could not build Single Signon Cust object with provided information", do not try to sign in with Google single singon but use the normal singup process by entering personal information including email address .
Just for your reference: if you sign up for Bluehost service by clicking on the referral links contained in this article or the following banner, you can sign up starting from USD2.95/month (with 1 dollar off per month) and I will get some commission. However, I do not suggest Bluehost service just for commission; I have been running and managing WordPress sites from several web hosting companies including SiteGround and Bluehost for years.
If you want a cost-effective web hosting service, Bluehost's Shared Hosting will be a good option.
